Network Management

Oceus Networks provides network operation solutions that expand the capabilities of the network. From complex operations support system (OSS) to simple network management systems, Oceus Networks works with customers to provide insight and help reduce operational costs, all while improving the value of the information provided by the network. A flagship product of ours is Service Level Management (SLM), which improves the quality of information provided so technicians can quickly assess the state of all systems and provide the accurate reaction to correct operational issues.

Situational Awareness and Collaboration (SAC)

Oceus Networks’ situational awareness and collaboration (SAC) platform provides the Department of the Navy with the ability to gather accurate asset information, collaborate and share it in a timely manner to allow for effective decision making. As the SAC application is based on a standardized 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) core, agencies can more effectively share information in a secure environment and easily scale to add new applications and capabilities in the future. Network Infrastructure

Oceus Networks is experienced in designing and deploying end-to-end networks. Our portfolio includes microwave, fiber optic, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), Synchronous Optical Networking (SONET) and Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), and IP routing equipment. Additionally, we have a breadth of partnerships encompassing telecom to enterprise solutions.

Oceus Networks supports all network topologies with an eye towards operational efficiency. SONET and SDH networks provide a low cost network backbone. Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) provides a method to aggregate multiple backbones together. Ethernet aggregation joins networks together and Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) provides a method to move data to the desktop outside of the traditional copper solutions. Fiber optic solutions to the desktop provide a green solution when compared with the traditional copper and stack of routers.

Video Solutions for all Situations

Oceus Networks understands the needs of using video for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), as well as for security. We provide a range of solutions proven in the commercial marketplace. Oceus Networks has exclusive rights to provide the U.S. Federal Government with the same Ericsson (previously Tandberg) equipment used by the major networks, television, cable and studios. Our solutions utilize market leading solutions for video encoding and distribution, video archiving and live video processing. These systems come in a variety of sizes so we can provide solutions to fit the most demanding needs.
